Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
So this is my first speed job type thing. I did this today and rushed the crap out of it. Literally took me... 4 hours to do, and thats almost all because of drying time for the paint.
Yes, it's an airsoft gun, but I love how it looks and doubt I'd have been as successful using a nerf gun.
Operation Raccoon City comes out tomorrow and I felt I should make this to celebrate it's arrival.
The gun is boneyard, but still retains its electronic blow back feature, so it still works as a prop.
Now for what I did to this thing.
It started off as a broken clear plastic pistol. I sanded it and painted it black, painted the barrel silver, and then worked on the grips. I have two colors for brown paint. Krylons Leather Brown and Work Boots or something like that. I don't have the cans on me to check.
I simple brushed it on in a sweeping motion and mixed the colors for lighter and darker shades. Or rather I tried to. It all kinda blended. Ah well.
I wasn't really going for technique. The handle isn't exactly clean, as the brown goes off the grip in a few spots. The silver barrel has a scuff mark from me being careless. You can see the areas where i glued the slide decal on. And why glue and decal over painting it on or something you ask?
Because on the slide it says "Pulse P92" and unlike the nerf logos which are raised and sand able, this is cut into the slide, so I had to cover it up.
This really isn't something I put effort into, nor really could given my deadline of tomorrow. I didn't realize the release date till Gamestop called me yesterday to inform me... I mean yes there are amazing works done in similar time frames as this, so I guess my excuse isn't the best, but in the end I think it came out okay.
Anywho figured I'd still share.
